I Cast Initiative tracks turn order and hit points, of course. It also helps when the fight gets fiddly: spells that last multiple rounds, conditions, saving throws, abilities, legendary actions and the occasional player dropping to 0 HP. RIP. Build an encounter, bring in your own characters and creatures, and use the 2014 or 2024 rules with the flick of a switch.
Your characters and homebrew.
Import player characters, enemies and homebrew with character sheet and stat block upload. No need to type everything out. If you've already done the work elsewhere, you shouldn't have to do it again before a session.
Still concentrating?
If a spellcaster takes damage, the reminder appears right then. Make the check, mark the result and carry on. No more remembering it after everyone has taken another turn.
I need a DEX saving throw from everyone.
Choose everyone caught in the blast, sort their saving throws, enter damage once and the tracker applies it together. Resistances, immunities and half damage all calculated for you.
How does that spell work again?
Cast a spell with a click and I Cast Initiative keeps its ongoing effects and turn reminders ready for the moment they're needed. If a spell brings another creature into play, that creature joins the order with the spell still linked to it. Forgotten how a spell works? Every spell's full rules are neatly tucked away for quick reference.
Keep conditions in sight.
Poisoned, Invisible, Frightened and more stay beside the affected creature. Conditions are easy to add, trigger reminders and calculate changes to damage automatically.
Throw away your cheat sheet.
Remember how grappling works? Me neither. But the tracker does. Get reminders for all the fiddly little rules you always forget based on what's happening in your fight.
A killer feature.
Track successes and failures next to the downed character. You can see exactly where they stand when their turn comes around.
Don't forget the monster's good bits.
Choose a built-in creature or add your own. Recharge, Legendary Actions and Lair Actions stay in view while it fights, instead of hiding in a stat block you meant to check three rounds ago.
Switch rules with a click.
Switch the encounter to the rules your table is using. You can change your mind without setting up the fight again.
Keep an encounter for next time.
Save encounters, parties, characters and custom enemies in My Library. Reuse a setup you liked, or come back to the fight when a session ends in the middle of it.
Check the fight before you run it.
As you add the party and its enemies, I Cast Initiative shows you the encounter difficulty and scale. If you meant to make the fight tough rather than impossible, you've got time to change it.
